April 1, 1933 - April 3, 2012
Husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. It's been a year since the Lord took you by the hand with him to sweet eternity. Now we hold so dear the memories where we find comfort of the knowledge that you live on in eternity. Today, we are remembering your strength that held the family up. It brings smiles to our face remembering you holding two grandbabies in each one of your arms.
We celebrate the times shared at family gatherings, especially when you cooked your famous barbeque and sauce. Your love still strengthens us and your wisdom still guides us both of these we will cherish in our hearts. "Hear ye children the instruction of a father and attend to know understanding (Proverbs 4: 1, KJV).
We know it was God's will and your time to go but
we cherish in the good times the memories that we all have come to know.
Those who cherish your memory are your wife, Marjorie Thompson,
your children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren
