WOLF, Kenneth George Jr., of Stuarts Draft, Va., Chico, Calif. and Lakeside, Richmond, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 16, 2013, after a dignified and courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his devoted wife and best friend, Karen; sister, Jean Groome and husband, Melvin of Louisa; brother, Jim Wolf and wife, Gail of Powhatan; son, Karl Harvey of Little Rock, Ark.; daughter, Carlie Rice and her husband, Josh of Chico, Calif., their children Kaleb, Adynn and Avah; and stepdaughter, Lynn Halterman of Englewood, Colo.; along with a niece, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was born December 16, 1943 to Kenneth and Georgie Sanders Wolf in Richmond, Va. Ken was an Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He retired from California State University at Chico. He was a warm, caring and loving son, husband, father, brother and friend who always put others before himself. His life-long hobby and passion was restoring vintage cars, especially 1955 Chevrolets. "Do not weep for me, for as long as there are Harley Davidson motorcycles roaring into the sunset and classic Chevys going down the boulevard, I'll always be alive." A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday July 20, 2013 at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd.
