Jaksa, William John "Bill" Loving and Selfless Husband, Father, Grandfather ("Papa"), Brother, and Friend. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 3, 2013. Survived by his wife, Lucille; children, Stephen Jaksa, DDS and wife Lori, Elizabeth Jaksa, Barbara Deutsch and husband Mark, Robert Jaksa, MD and wife Sue; grandchildren, Halle, Cole, and William; brother, Robert F. Jaksa; sister, Jennie Dincau; family friend, Leanne Connolly and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Mary and brothers, Tony and Edward. Bill was born in Virginia, MN where he finished high school. He served in the US Army in Japan 8th Army Headquarters in the Army of Occupation. Bill then graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration. On January 2, 1954, Bill married Lucille. After working 1 year for US Steel, he joined 3M in 1955. Bill moved to White Bear Lake in 1957, where he raised his family and continued his long career at 3M as manager of their machine shops, retiring in 1990. Bill and Lucille have been parishioners of St Pius X since 1957. Bill loved hunting, fishing, and his hobby farm, but most of all, his family. He will be terribly missed on earth but is now at peace in Heaven, where we will see him again. Memorials preferred to St Pius X Catholic Church.
