Funeral service for Odis Campbell, 76, of Lacey's Spring will be Friday, April 18, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs Baptist Church with Brother Craye Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at the church.
Mr. Campbell died on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at his residence. He was born August 25, 1937, in Blount County to Odell Campbell and Mildred Vaughn Campbell. He was the owner of Campbell's Salvage Yard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Sharp Campbell; and two sons, Tommy Campbell and Thomas "Bo" Campbell.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Campbell of Laceys Spring, Raymond Campbell of Guntersville and Roger Campbell of Lacey's Spring; two daughters, Donna Krueger of New Market and Peggy Douell of Toney; three brothers, Dwight Campbell, Glenn Campbell and Limb Moore; and three sisters, Helen Wells, Dale Beam and Danny Faye Moore.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
