James 'Jim' T. Campbell
Funeral service for James "Jim" T. Campbell, 91, of Eva will be Friday, May 16, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill Stone and Chaplain Rich Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Eva Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Campbell died on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at USA Decatur Health & Rehab Center. He was born August 11, 1922, in Morgan County to Frank Campbell and Cordie Sanders Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a millwright formerly employed by Caterpillar.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Campbell; one son, Tony Durham of Decatur, IL; one daughter, Lori Campbell of Decatur, IL; one brother, Eugene Campbell and wife, Dean, of Eva; a host of stepchildren and their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
