Joseph Burton DeLaCruz, 62, a longtime harborite of the Washington area, a U.S. Army veteran who was stationed in Germany, for whom December 5 was named Joe DeLaCruz Day by former Washington Governor John Spellman, passed away of an apparent heart condition at Seattle-Tacoma Airport, Sea-Tac, Washington, on the morning of Sunday, April 16, 2000. Lying in state on Friday, April 21, 2000, 10 a.m. to Saturday, April 22, 10 a.m., at Taholah Community Center. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 22, 1 p.m., at Quinault Beach Resort, 78 SR 115, Hogans Corner, Washington. Vigil services are scheduled for Sunday, April 23, 7 p.m., with Funeral Mass at 9 a.m., at Inchelium, Washington. Concluding services and interment with military honors will follow at Inchelium Cemetery, Inchelium. Arrangements entrusted to Coleman Mortuary, Hoquiam, Washingon.
