Albert V. Aguiar, 52, of Dennis Street, Attleboro, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Ana (Amaral) Aguiar, with whom he celebrated thirty-one years of marriage.
Born in St. Michael, Azores on January 20, 1956, he was a son of the late Victorinho and Conceicao (Raposo) Aguiar.
Albert was a resident of Attleboro for thirty-one years and was currently employed by Environmental Systems in Attleboro.
In addition to his beloved wife Ana, Albert is survived by a son: Timothy Aguiar of Attleboro and a daughter: Melanie Aguiar of Attleboro. He is also survived by his siblings; Luis Aguiar of Pawtucket, Adriana Resendes of Cumberland, Rhode Island, Maria Aldina de Medeiros of Seekonk, and Jose Maria Aguiar of East Providence, Rhode Island.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, September 21, 2008 from 5 to 8 PM in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A funeral will be conducted on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 9 AM from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. Followed by a funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro celebrated by Reverend Michael Carvell.
