Ann Aldridge, 74, Anderson, passed away June 30, 2008 at Meadowbrooke Rehabilitation Centre after a brief illness.
She was born August 28, 1933 in Rushville and lived most of her life in Anderson. She retired in 1988 from Delco Remy after 30 years of employment.
She was president of Women’s Republican Party of Madison County, member of Psi Iota Psi, volunteered at the Paramount and Humane Society and enjoyed playing bridge.
She is survived by a son, Gary Aldridge of Anderson; daughters, Dee-Dee Wilson of Anderson and Tina (husband, David) Wicks of Lewis Center, OH; five grandchildren, Nicole, Taylor, Drew, Clark and Robby; four great grandchildren, Morgan, Mason, Eva and Hunter; brother, Vance Bobrink; and sister, Pam Cookman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Millitine (Cross) Bobrink; and husband, Lowell R. Aldridge.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Mitchel officiating. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
