Carol A. Caron, 72, of Manchester, died at her home on November 4, 2010.
Mrs. Caron was born in Laconia, June 25, 1938, the daughter of Edward J. and Mary F. (Howe) Byrne.
She graduated from Manchester West High School in 1956.
She worked as an accounting clerk for New England Telephone and retired from there after 25 years of service.
She was a communicant at St. Raphael Church for many years where she has been the bookkeeper for the past 10 years, since her retirement, and filled in as secretary whenever needed.
Her husband, Gerard “Pete” Caron died September 27, 1998. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 5th of this year.
Family was Carol’s greatest joy and she had many friends.
Members of her family include a son: John W. “Jack” and his wife Judy Caron of Manchester, a daughter: Kathleen “Kate” and her husband, Steve Bouchard of Hooksett, 2 grandchildren, Emily and Michael Caron, a brother, Edward J. “Jack” and his wife Colleen Byrne of Manchester, a sister, Eileen and her husband Denis Smith of Manchester, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St., corner of Beech St.
The funeral liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St.
