Edward F. Badger, III, age 51, of Pine Road in Middleton, died suddenly, at home, Friday morning, October 20, 2006.
Born May 28, 1955, in Portsmouth, NH, a son of the late Edward F. and Grace (Simmons) Badger, he grew up in Kittery, Maine and was a graduate of Robert W. Traip Academy, Class of 1975 in Kittery, Maine, where he was a state champion on the wrestling team. He was a member of Traip Alumni Association. He resided in Middleton, NH for 26 years.
Edward was the owner and operator of Badger Plumbing and Heating.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and his annual Fourth of July fireworks display over Sunrise Lake.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years: Sheila (Buckley) Badger of Middleton, 5 children: Edward F. Badger, IV & his wife Jenine of Middleton, Tanya L. & husband Jason Pitman of Tilton, Michael A. Badger, Joshua L. Badger and Jeremiah T. Badger, all of Middleton, 3 grandchildren: Edward F. Badger the V, Brian R. Badger and Hailey M. Pitman, also 5 siblings: Beverly A. Weeden of Porter, Maine, Ruth E. Bowen of Eliot, Maine, Thomas A. Badger of Somersworth, Patricia J. Knight of Lyman, Maine and Kathy Tinkham of Florida, also many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
Calling hours are Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Lighthouse Assembly of God on Lowell Street in Rochester, NH with Pastor Cliff McKinley, officiating. Interment will follow at Kimball Cemetery on Meaderboro Road in Rochester.
