He leaves a son, John N. Allard and an aunt, Dot Stevens, both of Laconia, a devoted neighbor and lifelong friend, Bobbi Prescott of Laconia, and longtime friend Lucy Crowley Auclair formerly of Franklin now residing in Clearwater, Fla.

Ed will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman who took many trips throughout the North pursuing his passion. He was a lifetime member of the Sportsmen’s Den in Laconia, and, for many years, oversaw their fishing derbies. He was a devoted NASCAR fan and attended many races.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 11 am in the Congregational Church of Laconia.
