Eleanor Andrews Obituary

1910 - 2005
New London, NH-Eleanor (Fuller) Andrews, 94, of Woodcrest Village, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005 at the New London Hospital. She was born in Union City, NJ on Feb. 23, 1910 the daughter of Frederick and Antoinette (Allmeyer) Fuller. She had lived in Greenwich, CT, Chatham, MA, and Mount Dora, FL before moving to New London three years ago. Mrs. Andrews had been a member of the Second Congregational Church in Greenwich and the Congregational Church in FL. She volunteered for the American Red Cross and the hospital while in Greenwich and was also a member of the Millbrook Country Club there. While in Mount Dora, FL she was very active with the Lawn Bowling League and won many awards. She was an avid Red Sox fan and began painting at the age of 91. Mrs. Andrews enjoyed bridge, scrabble, puzzles, crossword puzzles, and games. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. While at Woodcrest in New London, Mrs. Andrews was part of the Intergenerational Pro! gram where a student from Kearsarge Regional Middle School eighth grade would spend time with her and share interests. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Elliott P. Andrews, who died in 2002 and she was also predeceased by her son, Neil. Members of her family surviving include two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Peter Allaire of Sunapee, NH and Elizabeth and Salvatore Seminatore of Concord, MA; four grandchildren and spouses, Daniel and Agona Seminatore, Scott Allaire, Matthew and Amber Allaire, and Kristen Allaire; and two great grandchildren, Samuel Seminatore and Mason Allaire. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 at 2:30 P.M. at Woodcrest Village, 356 Main Street, New London, NH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 167 North Main Street, Concord, NH 03301 or to the New London Hospital, 273 County Road, New London, NH 03257.
