Funeral service celebrating the life of Ethelyn Corbett Christmas, 93, of Camden, South Carolina, will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Camden. The Reverend Bruce Hancock will officiate. Burial will follow in Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Center. Ethelyn Corbett Christmas, widow of the late Clarence Edward Christmas, died on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. She was born in Camden, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Thomas Malcolm and Aretha Marshall Corbett. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Camden. Ethelyn is survived by her son, C. Edward Christmas, Jr. and Carolyn of Graham, North Carolina; step-grandson, Michael K. Meador of Rifle, Colorado; her brother; Jack Richard Corbett of Camden; and sister, Joyce McKenzie of Azusa, California. Besides her husband and parents, Ethelyn was predeceased by her son, Michael Lyn Christmas; sister, Charlotte Pate Inman; and brothers, William Duncan Corbett and Thomas Malcolm Corbett Jr. Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
