Frances Katherine Adolph, 81, of Kent, died Monday, February 1, 2010 at home with her family.
She was born October 10, 1928 in St. Joseph, to William and Mary (Shirclif) Coomes. She was employed by Oak Rubber in Ravenna during WW II. Frances was a member of St. Patrick Church in Kent. She enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
She is survived by son, James (Beth) Adolph of Kent; granddaughter, Thersea (Tom) Cline of Diamond; great granddaughter, Anna Marie Cline; brothers, Tom (Helen) Coomes of North Canton, Joe (Judy) Coomes of Demming, NM and Ted (Beverly) Coomes of Lakeland, FL; and sister, Joann (Tom) Akins of Urichsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J Adolph in 2000; daughter, Mary Margaret Adolph; grandson, Aaron Adolph; great grandson, Thomas Michael Cline; brothers, Richard Coomes, James Coomes, Leonard Coomes, William Coomes and Ken Coomes; and sisters, Mary Kline, Martha Karg and Angela Ernst.
Calling hours will be held 6-9 PM Wednesday, February 3rd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, February 4th at St. Patrick Church. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's School Endowment Fund, 127 Portage Street, Kent, OH 44240.
