Geraldine Beauchemin, 85, of Manchester, died December 18, 2012 at Hanover Hill Healthcare, following a long illness.
Mrs. Beauchemin was born in Manchester, August 30, 1027, the daughter of William and Cecile (LeBlanc) Pratt. She attended local schools and was a lifelong resident of this city.
She worked as a food server at St. Anselm College for many years prior to her retirement. She was a frequent visitor to the Precious Blood Monastery.
Geraldine's pride and joy was her family, especially her grandson.
She was the widow of Paul H. Beauchemin, former Manchester Police Officer, and was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Pratt. and 2 sisters, Claire LaDuke and Rita Ducharme.
Members of her family include her son, Paul J. Beauchemin and his wife Debbie of Singer Island, Florida, her grandson, John P. Beauchemin of Florida, 2 brothers, William Pratt of FL. and Gerard Pratt of CT., several nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 at Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St., corner of Beech St. followed by a funeral mass of Christian Burial at noon at the Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelly St. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
