Gloria Muriel Cusson
Gloria Muriel Cusson, 87, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Gloria was born in Batavia, New York, on August 30, 1923, a daughter of the late Norris C. and Edna (Bradfield) Heintz.
She was united in marriage on October 7, 1966, to Wilfred Cusson, who preceded her in death.
Gloria is survived by five daughters, Patricia Innerst and her husband, William, April Brockway and her husband, Earl, Roxanne Francis, Terri Blankenship, and Denise Cagan; three sons, Lynn Mitchell and his wife, Ann, Gordon DeVelder, and Charles Cusson and his wife, Debra; a stepdaughter, Jeanette Denlinger and her husband, Paul; two sisters, Eleanor Caulkins and Jean Wicks and her husband, Bob. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Dwight.
A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Briery Branch Church of the Brethren with Pastor Darren Howdyshell officiating.
