EAST RICHFORD – Helen R. Currier, age 64, passed on Thursday May 6, 2004 at her home with her family at her side.
She was born August 5, 1939 in East Franklin the daughter of the late William & Ruth (Hance) Fiske.
She was a resident of Richford since 1954 and was employed at Northland Hockey Stick Factory and Richford Dry Cleaners for many years. Helen ejnoyed embroidering, crossword puzzles, reading, playing scrabble, and traveling with her family. Most of all she enjoyed her cats and their companionship.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Currier Jr. of East Richford; 2 daughters, Georgette Safford and her husband Daniel of Colchester, and Angela Tracy and her husband Stephen of East Richford; a sister, Norma Rockwell and her husband Donald of Barton; she was most proud of her 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson and their accomplishments. She is also survived by a good friend, Inzy Garrow of Richford. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur C. Currier, and a sister, Barbara Pariseau.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon May 10, 2004 at 3:00 at the Spears Funeral Home, 140 Main St., Richford with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will follow in the Richford Center Cemetery.
Friends and relatives may call on the family at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 2:00 until the hour of the funeral.
