FORT PIERCE, FL– James Adams, 79, died Saturday, November 29, 2003,
at his residence. Born in Johnson City, TN, he was a former Troy resident, and lived in Ft. Pierce for the past seven years. Prior to retirement, he was the plant engineer for Freihofer Baking Co. in Albany. Mr. Adams was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WW II. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and Elks Lodge, all in Lake George.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Joan C. Adams of Ft. Pierce, a son, Warren Adams of Peru, NY; a daughter Pamela Mulligan of Troy, two sisters, Mary Beth Raack of Calabasas, CA, and Jane Kibby of Santa Ana, CA, and three grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at the Spanish Lakes Fairways clubhouse in Fort Pierce. Burial will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY at a later date. Memorial donations to Hospice of Treasure Coast, P.O. Box 1748, Fort Pierce, FL 34954 would be appreciated.
