James Henry Caddell James Henry Caddell, 83, of Charlottesville, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013. He was born January 3, 1930, in Sanford, North Carolina, to Hasty and Laurie Caddell. He attended Wake Forest University. A veteran of the Korean War, he was the founder and designer of Mr. Hank Originals (Mr. Hank) of Charlottesville. After retiring, he and his wife owned and operated Etcetera, in Southport, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Booker Caddell; two sons, David Michael Caddell and his wife, Stephanie, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Clay Linwood Caddell of Charlottesville, Virginia; two daughters, Mary C. Hewitt and husband, Richard, of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Laurie B. Driver of Oak Island, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Mary Caitlin Hewitt of Afton, Virginia; and Richard Christopher of Charlottesville,Virginia. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be private. The family would like to express a special thank you to all the staff of Hospice of the Piedmont for their support and compassionate care.
