Janice E. Alexander, 66, of Martin Street, Attleboro, a jewelry company data processor and loving wife, died Sunday, November 13, 2005 at home. She was the beloved wife of forty-eight years of Donald H. Alexander.
Born in Attleboro on July 14, 1939, Mrs. Alexander was a daughter of the late Albert E. and Rita L. (Lumnah) Irving.
Mrs. Alexander was raised and educated in Attleboro and attended Attleboro High School. Years ago, she was employed at Wells Jewelry Company in Attleboro and later was employed for over fifteen years as a data processor at the Robbins Company in Attleboro retiring four years ago.
A member of Moose Club in Attleboro, Mrs. Alexander enjoyed crafts, quilting, needlepoint, playing golf and spending time with her family.
In addition to her beloved husband, Donald, Mrs. Alexander is survived by three brothers: Arthur Irving of So. Attleboro, James Irving of Rehoboth and Dennis Irving of Attleboro; two sisters: Diane Blayney of Chicago, IL and Barbara Gagnon of Pear Blossom, CA; and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Alexander was the beloved mother of the late Michael S. Alexander who died on March 12, 1999.
A funeral will be conducted on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 9 AM from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 208 South Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, 825 North Main Street, Attleboro.
