Manchester- John Andruchuk, 80, died May 16, 2010 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on June 23, 1929 the son of Fedor and Katherine (Laniak) Andruchuk.
He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
He was a graduate of Manchester Central High School class of 1947.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was a former Mason and member of the NH Shriner’s.
He was an off set pressman for the NH State Correctional facility for over 20 years.
He enjoyed the many friends he made and the great food while attending his grandson’s baseball, hockey and lacrosse games. He also enjoyed spending time during the summer with family and friends at his cottage in York Beach ME.
A special thanks to all his friends at Chiggy’s, Hillview, and Ollies for the companionship and laughs.
Family members include 2 sons, David J. Andruchuk of Crystal Lake IL., Mark J. Andruchuk of Goffstown, 3 grandchildren, 1 sister, Mary Janosz of Manchester.
Services: Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 6 PM at Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St. Burial will be at a later date in NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
