BRUCE - John F. Durane Bollinger, 89, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. He was born Dec. 12, 1914, in Mississippi to Henry Price Bollinger and Annie Black Bollinger. He was a retired farmer and crane operator. He was a member of Banner Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and W.O.W.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce with the Rev. Rex Ard and the Rev. Ken Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Rasberry Garner Bollinger of Bruce; four sisters, Marie Morgan of Florence, Vivian Massey of Bruce and Ruth Crutchfield of Calhoun City and Faye Parker of Pittsboro; four brothers, Dero Bollinger of Jacksonville, Fla., Henry X.L. Bollinger of Nesbit, Maxie Bollinger of Bruce and Laderl Bollinger of Pittsboro.
