Armisto, 57, of Verplanck, New York, a special education teacher for the Hendrick Hudson School District for many years, died at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, New York, on Friday, April 26, 2002. Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, April 29, 2002, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, New York. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, April 30, 10 a.m., at St. Christopher's Church, Buchanan, New York. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Verplanck.
