Kevin Maurice Marsh HEMINGWAY, SC - Kevin Maurice Marsh, 45, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013, in a Kingstree hospital after a sudden illness. Kevin was born in Florence, SC, a son of Kenneth Medrick and Katie Collins Marsh. He worked on Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a graduate of Hemingway High School and Horry-Georgetown Tech. College and was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He was co-operator of the Tomahawk Foxpen and was a member of the Choppee and Carvers Bay Hunting Club and loved sports of all types. Surviving are his parents, Medrick and Katie Marsh; wife, Carisa Goude Marsh; sons, Zakery Marsh, Zane Marsh and Drake Marsh; brother, Ken (Nannette) Marsh; sister, Kendra (Mike) Roberts; aunt and uncle, Margaret and Lorey Marsh, uncle, Allen Marsh, aunt, Elnora Miles, aunt, Joyce Turbeville, uncle, Jack Collins, aunt and uncle, Karen and Randy Venters; nieces, Tarrynn Marsh and Kaden Roberts; nephew, Thatcher Marsh; and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by aunt and uncle, Inez and Duke Elliott; uncles Sparky Miles, Kenneth Moore and R. H. Turbeville. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 8, 2013 in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM till 8:00PM, Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1760 Pope Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
