Larry Adams, age 46, of Lincoln Road in Middleton, NH, passed away at home on January 2, 2010, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Yorktown, VA on May 7, 1963 and was a graduate of Rogers High School in Newport, Rhode Island, where he resided many years, he lived in Milton, NH for 6 years and the past 13 years in Middleton, NH.
Larry enjoyed the ocean, driving his four wheeler, exploring and enjoying the outdoors with his family, enjoyed building wood products, photography (which earned him awards) and getting together with friends and family. After graduating from high school, Larry worked as a commercial lobsterman. After marrying his wife Sandra, they moved to Milton, where he continued to work out of Newington. To be closer to his family, he gave up his passion for the sea, opting to take employment with Tillotson Health Care Company, as a supervisor for 15 years. When the plant closed, Larry furthered his education and received a license for oil burner technician and was employed with Wolfeboro Oil Company for the last five years.
He was a member of the New Durham Fish and Game Club.
A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 21 years Sandra (Marley) Adams, twins: son Anthony Adams and daughter Angelina Adams, all of Middleton, daughter Rya Lee Rapoza of Harrisville, RI, sons: Justin Rapoza of Jamestown, RI and Clifford D. Weida of Freeport, FL, 8 grandchildren, his father Freddie and stepmother Dianna Adams of Milton, 2 brothers: Freddie Adams, Jr. of Middletown, RI and Jimmy Adams of Bristol, RI, 3 sisters: Bonnie Adams of Portsmouth, RI, Tracy and husband Scott Fitzsimmons of Kissimmee, FL, Dawn Adams and fiance’ Steven Williamson of Portsmouth, RI, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Geraldine (Imburgia) Adams.
Family and Friends are welcome to a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 9, 2009 at 11:00 am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH 03835, with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am.
