Lillie Belle Taylor Beason, 88, widow of Roy T. Beason, died Friday, August 20, 2004
at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare.
She was the daughter of the late, Lewis T. and Bertie Massengale Taylor and the
step-daughter of the late Rosa Phillips Taylor.
A faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Woodruff, she was a former Sunday School teacher, member of the TEL Sunday School Class, W.M.U. and the Golden Age.
She was also a member of the Garden Ellas Garden Club.
Mrs. Beason is survived by two daughters;
Martha Jean Long Lanford and her husband, Bill
Priscilla Long Miller and her husband Roger all of Woodruff
a half-brother; Ray Taylor of Spartanburg
Five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren
also survive her.
She was predeceased by a brother; Albert C. Taylor.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church on Sunday, August 22, 2004 from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Andrew Shull.
Burial will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
