Lois Marie Barlow, age 56, Carterville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at 12:34 a.m. at her home. She was born on Sept. 10, 1953, in Joplin, to Franklin Leroy Williams and Agnes West Williams. Lois had worked for Motorola Company for many years. Lois was a member of the Carterville United Methodist Church and was a 1971 Webb City High School graduate. Survivors include her husband, Glen Barlow, of the home; her father, Franklin Leroy Williams, of Carterville; daughters, Stacy Hollon, of Carl Junction, April Shipp, of St. Joseph, and Piper Harris, of Webb City; stepdaughters, Shannon Trimmell, of Salina, Kan., and Misty Barlow, of Oronogo; a brother, Gary Williams of Fort Collins, Colo.; sisters, Marilyn Pliler, of Carterville, and Leah Cox, of Purcell; and 16 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes; and Jerry Harris. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Simpson Funeral Home of Webb City, with Rev. Max Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in the Carterville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 7 at the Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
