Lucinda Susan Copeland Lucinda Susan Holstein Roe Copeland, 83, of Crozet, died at her residence, surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren, on Sunday, June 16, 2013. She was born on October 14, 1929, in Camp Creek, West Virginia, to the late Omer and Stella Holstein. She is survived by her sister, Peg Panz; and her brother, Omer Clayton Holstein; and adoptive brothers, Nat and Bud Roe. Eight brothers and sisters are deceased, Wesley Holstein, Dennis Holstein, Myrtle Turner, Mary Hankins, Oma Brown, Nancy Holstein, Viniacy Holstein, and Frances Ann Wilson; and one adoptive sister, Kate Williamson. She is survived by her husband, James Rogers Copeland; six children, Ruth Ann and Stewart Irwin of Reston, Virginia, James and Susie Copeland of Meridian, Mississippi, John and Lucy Copeland of Christiansburg, Virginia, David and Maria of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Timothy and Renee of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, and Rebecca and Dale Hess of Harrisionburg, Virginia; and 16 grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m. Burial will be held 10 a.m. at the Culpeper Virginia National Cemetery on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, and a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at Crozet Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Kellum officiating.
