Penney Company, died at Maryfield Nursing Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Sunday, November 10, 2002. Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2002, 1 p.m., at South River Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Statesville, officiated by Dr. Jeff Porter and Dr. Jack Causey.
