Pearlie Young Burnham, 88 of Fordyce, died Thursday, April 3, 2003. She was born September 9, 1914 in Hopeville, Arkansas. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Fordyce. She was the widow of Eli Young and Rufus Burnham.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Jill Young of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Joe Henry and Pat Young of Sheridan, and Tom and Shirley Young of Clearwater, Florida; one step-son, Bob Burnham and wife Janet of Magnolia; one step-daughter, Carole Jean Tims and husband Joe Emmitt of Bruce, Mississippi, 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bob Young, one daughter, Ruth Harrod, and one step-son, Billy Keith Burnham.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B.L. Blann and Rev. Carter Pierce officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.
