Phyllis Mae Pugh Cook Phyllis Mae Pugh Cook, 70, of Crozet, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013. Phyllis was born on May 30, 1943, to the late Samuel W. Pugh and Elizabeth Pugh Taylor. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Pugh Bond; four nephews, Mark Pugh, Bobby Dale Morris, Jeff Morris, and Kendall Bond. She is survived by her brother, Randolph Pugh and Joyce of Crozet, Virginia; sister, Barbara Sipe and Warren of Chesapeake, Virginia; and brother, Eddie Taylor of Verona, Virginia. She is also survived by her aunt, Mildred Wood of Crozet, Virginia; and a brother-in-law, Linwood Bond of Callahan, Florida. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, Patricia Ann Wade and Jim, Mary Kay Wasdin and John, Ricky Pugh and Sandy, Kenny Bond and Judy, all of Callahan, Florida, Greg Pugh and Donna of Crozet, Virginia, Steve Pugh and Ann of Clearwater, Florida, and Kevin Pugh. She is also survived by several cousins, great-nieces and nephews. Phyllis worked for many years at ACME Visible Records in Crozet, Virginia, and later retired from Goodwill Industries in Charlottesville, Virginia. The family wishes to thank the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department, Western Albemarle Rescue Squad and Albemarle County Police Department.
