Richard S. Balser, 82, of Harrisburg, died Wednesday in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital. He was retired from the former Raub Supply Co. He was a member of St Johns Lutheran Church, Shiremanstown.
He was the widower of the late Catherine Balser. He is survived by his step-son, Richard Paul Smith of Newport News, VA; his brother, Robert Balser of Harrisburg; 4 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Services will be held 2 PM, Friday in the Neill Funeral Home,Paxtang. Burial will be in Prospect Hills Cemetery, Harrisburg. There will be a viewing from 1 to 2 PM, Friday in the Funeral Home.
