Robert Anders Obituary

Robert Preston Anders, 77, of Brewster, Massachusetts, a U.S. Navy veteran who served from 1943 to 1945, who also served in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1947 to 1952, an employee of the Washington Navy Yard for 38 years until his retirement as art director for the Naval Command Systems Support Activity in 1980, died in Barnstable, Massachusetts, on Monday, January 29, 2001. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2001, 10-11 a.m., at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Service Incorporated, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, Massachusetts. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Massachusetts. Memorial donations are appreciated to Lions Eye and Tissue Bank, 9470 Annapolis Road, Seabrook, MD 20706 or Joslin Diabetes Clinic, Attn: Development, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215. Arrangements entrusted to Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Service Incorporated, South Dennis, Massachusetts.
