William W. "Buster" Adams, age 80, of Pearcy, died Tuesday, January 4, 2005.
He was born on January 12, 1924 at Glenwood, the son of Henry H. Adams and Beulah Bell Brown Adams.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was also a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his sister, Betty Barentine of Glenwood; four step-sons, Johnny Yarbrough and Ray Yarbrough, both of Glenwood, Marion Yarbrough of Hot Springs, and Marlon Yarbrough of Glenwood; two step-daughters, Lavada Lindsey of Pearcy and Odessa Lindsey of Glenwood; several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 8, 2005, in the Lodi Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday evening, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
