James Leonard Holliman, 68 of Springhill, FL passed away Thursday December 14, 2006 at his residence.
Visitation for Mr. Holliman will be Monday, December 18, 2006 from 6 – 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 19, 2006 at 11 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.
Mr. Holliman was born April 27, 1938 in Columbus, MS to the late James Woodrow and Mary Lee Hagood Holliman. He was employed for 10 years as a mechanic with Brown Buick-Cadillac and Fitzner Pontiac in Columbus, MS and was a resident of Springhill, FL since 1971. In addition to his parents, Mr. Holliman is preceded in death by his wife Virginia Faye Holliman, brother, Duward Holliman and sister Janelle Seigler.
Mr. Holliman is survived by his wife Cathy Holliman, Springhill, FL; sons – James Truman (Jacquelyne) Holliman, Gary Lee (Janet) Holliman and Michael Wayne Holliman Keene all of Springhill, FL; daughter – Rhonda Gail Petty, Springhill, FL; sisters – Doris (Bill) Betts, Columbus, MS, Juanita Hale, Wichita, KS and Brenda (John) Odom, Columbus, MS; brother – Johnny (Betty) Holliman, Columbus, MS; 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnnie Holliman, Jr., John Odom, Willis Bonner, Dwight Johnson, James Keene and Brandon Chase.
