Bennett Falk Obituary

Bennett A. Falk, 61, of Hibbing died Monday, March 31, 2008. Bennett was born on April 6, 1946 in Hibbing to Bennett E. Falk and Laura L. Luoma. He grew up in Hibbing and graduated from Hibbing High School. Ben entered the U.S. Army and also the Army Reserves receiving an honorable discharge. He married Marilyn Bonacci on Feb. 1, 1969 in Hibbing where they made their home. Ben worked for Ameripride from May 1966 until his retirement in October 2001. He was also on the Stuntz volunteer Fire Department from 1977 to 1997 where he served as Captain. In his free time, he also drove the Equipment truck for the Hibbing High School Band. Ben enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his friends, traveling with the Hibbing High School Band, his doughnuts, and especially playing video games with his grandsons. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Bennett E. and Laura; and father-In-law, Thomas Bonacci. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Marilyn; children, Lisa (Aron) Moses of Park Rapids, Lynn Falk of Duluth; two grandsons, Keegan and Jack Moses; mother-in-law, Frances Bonacci of Hibbing; sister-in-law, Judy (Ron) Lervik of Mt. Iron; brother-in-law, Thomas (Glynda) Bonacci of Hibbing; two nephews, Brian (Cindy) Lervik, Michael Lervik; niece, Kariann (Jeremy) Dahl MEMORIAL SERVICE:11 a.m. Saturday April 5, 2008 with Visitation one hour prior in the Range Funeral Home in Hibbing. Pastor Rod Tuomi will be officiating. Arrangements are with the Range Funeral Home in Hibbing.
