Mr. Armand O. Aube, 94, formerly of Sanborn St., died at The St. Francis Home in Laconia on Sunday, April 20, 2008.
He was born in Franklin on Sept. 12, 1913 the son of Joseph and Anna (Caux) Aube. He resided in Franklin all of his life until entering the St. Francis Home four years ago.
During World War II, he served in the US Navy aboard the USS Prairie in the Pacific.
For many years, he worked at Hebertís Foundry (formerly Eastmanís) in Laconia as a machinist. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Mr. Aubeís wife, Madeline (Jeanson) Aube died in 1996.
Family members include 2 children: Richard Aube and his wife Carolyn of Tilton, and Nancy R. Dionne of Melbourne, Fla., 4 grandchildren: Ashley Garcia of Brookline, Mass., Jason Aube of Canterbury, Gary Dionne of Sanbornton, and Debra Gammon of Melbourne, 2 great grandchildren, a sister, Jeannette Jolda of Webster, Mass., and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 25th at 10 am in St. Paul Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
There are no visiting hours.
