Wolfeboro, NH: Cecilia C. Adkins, 73, died Thursday October 9, 2008 at the Clipper Home of Wolfeboro after a long period of failing health.
Mrs. Adkins was born in Danvers, MA on March 26, 1935, the daughter of John and Alice (Buckley) Caskin and had been living in this area since 1983, moving from Danvers, MA. She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Rochester and formerly employed at the Danvers News Company in Danvers, MA. She was the Widow of Gerald D. Adkins, Sr. who died in 2006.
Surviving members of the family include: one son, Gerald Adkins, Jr. of Farmington, NH, two daughters, Carol Kucharski of Alton, NH and Janet Adkins of Rochester, NH. She also leaves one sister, Mary Menges of Collinsville, IL, two grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, NH on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following visitation at 10:30 AM at Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, NH, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
