1915 - 2010
Jessie La Madrid was born on April 12, 1915 in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur, Philippines and passed to her rest on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 in Hot Springs, AR. She was 95.

She was the eldest of six children born to Agustin La Madrid and Maria Sarmiento. She spent her career in the Seventh-day Adventist church starting as a food service director and completing her years of service as the head of the Dept. of Nursing for Philippine Union College in Baesa, northern Philippines.

Beloved in all the churches she joined for her generosity and contributions to the food service and community service in Glendale, California and Hot Springs, Arkansas, Jessie spent her retirement years battling Alzheimer's Disease. After a brief illness, she succumbed to pneumonia.

Jessie was pre-deceased by her husband, Eulogio Albano, who is buried in Bonnerdale Seventh-day Adventist Church's cemetery. She is survived by 3 sons and their wives Ray (Leni), Roy (Mirian) and Herbert (Merci), 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. at the Bonnerdale Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Ron Ray officiating.

Interment will be held at Bonnerdale Seventh-day Adventist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Saturday evening.
