Rochester, NH: Erma V. Bailey, 82, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at the Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Rochester after a period of failing health.
Mrs. Bailey was born in South Montville, Maine on March 22, 1924, the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Hannan) Randall, and was a resident of Rochester since 1988, moving from Belfast, Maine. She was the widow of Walter L. Bailey who died in 1997. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Rochester and a member of the St. Ann Sodality of Holy Rosary Church in Rochester and a retired telephone operator with AT & T.
Surviving members of the family include: her children, Darrell Bailey of Kingston, MA, Rosamond Bailey of North Haverhill, NH, John Bailey of Inverness, FL, Maureen Dean of Rockport, ME, Kevin Bailey of North Reading, MA, and Norman Bailey of Strafford, NH. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, NH, on Friday from 6 – 8 PM.
