Wolfeboro, NH-Barbara Louise (Sanborn) Berry, 91 of Bayberry Lane Wolfeboro, died October 7, 2006 at Sunbridge of Wolfeboro.

Born March 20, 1915 in Lynn, MA daughter of the late Chester G. and Gratia (Chaffee) Sanborn she grew up in Lynn and lived many years in Swampscott, MA prior to moving to Wolfeboro in 1978.

Mrs Berry graduated from Lynn English High School, worked as a secretary at a law office for several years, worked as a secretary for Lynn Classical High School and as a secretary for First Church in Swampscott, Congregational. She was a member of the Boston St. Methodist Church in Lynn, First Church in Swampscott, Congregational in Swampscott and the First Congregational Church in Wolfeboro. She was also a Choir Member of the Boston St. Methodist Church, Choir Mother at the First Church in Swampscott, Congregational, a past president of the PTA in Swampscott and volunteered with the Caregivers in Wolfeboro.

Pre-Deceased by her husband William H. Berry in 1990 she leaves a daughter and her husband Linda and Bill Aiken of Bedford, MA, a step son and his wife Stanley and Holly Berry formerly of Windham, NH, a step daughter and her husband Susan and Donald Dunchus of Rutland, VT, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be 1:00 3:00 PM Tuesday October 10, 2006 at the Baker-Gagne Funeral Home, 85 Mill St., Wolfeboro, NH. A Graveside service will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Wolfeboro.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Lexington, MA

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Congregational Church in Wolfeboro.
