On June 14,2004, Sherry Lynn Ferguson went home to be with her Heavenly Father.
Sherry was born in Springhill, LA on September 11, 1951, the daughter of Pete and Janet Ferguson. She was raised in Camden, Arkansas and attended Fairview High School.
Sherry possessed an extraordinary love for the elderly and touched many lives in her
service as a Geriatric Nurse.
Sherry was a devoted mother to her five children and had a great love for her entire
family. She loved people, and her enthusiasm for life was evident in her smile and
boundless energy. She will be remembered by many for her compassion, her encouragement and her faith in God which she shared at every opportunity. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed blessing others with creations from her kitchen.
She is survived by her parents; her children, Brian Brian, Jr. and wife, Kelly of Fargo, ND, Amber Roy and husband, Jason of Fargo, ND, Jeremy Ferguson of Petersburg, ND and Austin DeLamar of Hot Springs; sisters, Wanda Dews of Park River, ND and Melody Lyman of McPherson, KS; brother, Charles Ferguson of Nacogdoches, TX; four nephews; three nieces; many aunts, uncles, cousins and multitude of friends. Sherry has joined in heaven, her daughter, Jenny Lynn Weeks.
Precious to Sherry’s heart were her grandchildren, John, Conner, Savannah, Brianna, Valiant, Braiden, Bailey, and Taten.
Services for Sherry will be held at Victory Assembly of God Church in Camden on Sunday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Kingsland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden.
