1917 - 2004
ENOSBURG FALLS – Jane C. Cameron, age 86, died peacefully at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington Sunday June 27, 2004, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born October 3, 1917 in Richford the daughter of the late Armand & Emma (Comeau) Coderre.

She was a 1935 graduate of Richford High School and married Kenneth A. Cameron August 14, 1939, he predeceased her February 22, 1994. They lived in Bristol until 1954 when they moved to Enosburg Falls. Together Jane & Ken operated several area businesses for more than 30 years. Jane was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was the choir director for 31 years and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society for 31 years. Jane enjoyed sharing her cooking skills with everyone and playing cards, especially 500 and most of all loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Linda Depatie and her husband Stephen of Enosburg Falls, Raymond Ferland and his wife Sandra of Enosburg Falls; Stephen Cameron and his wife Lynda of Delmar, NY, Peter Cameron of Essex; James Cameron and his wife Margi of So. Burlington, and Susan Cameron Stowe of Enosburg Falls. Also a very special daughter-in-law, Martha (Soule) Cameron and her friend Bob Granger of Belvidere. She was blessed with 12 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Theresa Trayhan of Hoosick Falls, NY, and Georgette Langevin of Swanton. Jane will be missed by her extended family at Riverview Apts as well as her guardian angel and many life long friends. Besides her husband Jane was predeceased by her son, David K. Cameron in 1973.

Jane’s family would also like to thank the staff at Franklin County Home Health Agency who assisted Jane. Also, the staff at Fletcher Allen Health Care, as well as Dorothy Malone-Rising.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 1, 2004 at 11:00 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Enosburg Falls with Revs. Benedict Kiely & Paul St. James celebrating the mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 5-8 at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
