RICHFORD – Hilda M. Davis, age 88, passed away Wednesday July 21, 2004 at the Redstone Villa Nursing Home in St. Albans.
She was born December 8, 1915 in Richford the daughter of the late Carl & Myrtle (Thomas) Vaughan.
She was a resident of Richford most of her life where she and her late husband owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. She was a member of the Richford 1st Baptist Church and the Baptist Women’s Society. Hilda enjoyed traveling especially to Atlantic City and had been to all 50 states. She also enjoyed playing BINGO.
She is survived by 2 sons and their wives, Bruce & Virginia Davis, and Robert & Catherine Davis all of Richford; her grandchildren and their families, Michael Davis, his wife Kimberly and their 2 children, Brittany & Joseph; Heather Davis, Thomas Davis, Shawn Davis, Sara Davis and her daughter Makayla, and Christina Davis; 2 nephews and their wives, Greg & Pauline Vaughan of Bedford, Que., and Carroll “C.J. & Debbie Murray of St. Albans. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Davis in 1988 and her brother Clifford Vaughan.
In keeping with Hilda’s wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday July 24, 2004 at 2:00 PM the Richford 1st Baptist Church with Pastor Lyle Willey officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Richford.
A time of visitation will be held Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 140 Main St., Richford
