Dolly C. Anderson, 88, of Hot Springs, died Friday, April 8, 2005, in a local hospital.
She was born January 13, 1917, at Cedar Falls, Arkansas to Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Carlock. She was a member of the Women’s Welcome Club and the Hot Springs Bridge House.
Arrangements are by Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs, with the service on Monday, April 11 at 10:00 AM in the chapel. Viewing hours are today (Sunday) at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Dolly’s survivors include her husband, Harold C. Anderson of the home; a step-son, Scott Capps of Wichita, Kansas; a daughter-in-law, Sara Jordan of Little Rock. Her surviving grandchildren include, Karen Lafferty of Little Rock, Shannon Lafferty of Odenton, Maryland, B.J. Lafferty of Little Rock, and Lauren Lafferty of Little Rock. There are also five great-grandchildren.
Dolly also leaves many friends and loved ones from churches where she attended and clubs where she was a member and neighbors.
Predeceasing Dolly was a previous husband, Eldon A. Lafferty and a son, Billy Lafferty.
Honorary pallbearers include: Jack Rushing, John Nuernberger, Joe Koller, Paul Puckett, Billy Oneal, Jerry Meadors, Jim Harmon and Dan Anderson.
Officating will be Bill Anderson, brother-in-law with singing by Shannon Lafferty, granddaughter.
