Thomas M. Alfonsi, 43, of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Lynn died unexpectedly Wednesday in Cobb General Hospital, Georgia. Husband of Debra (Ryan) Alfonsi, with whom he shared 15 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, son of the late Leo & Gladys (Kelly) Alfonsi, he was a graduate of Lynn English High School. He had been a resident of Georgia since 1985, previously residing in Lynn.
He was employed at the Marriott Hotel, Atlanta, Georgia as Chief of Operations for the past 10 years.
He was an avid sports enthusiast enjoying Golf, was a Hockey, Basketball, & Football Coach and also officiated in different sports games. He was an active member of the Harvest Gospel Church in Marietta.
He leaves 3 sons Thomas McMahon of Beverly, & Anthony & Christopher Alfonsi of Marietta, GA, 4 brothers Richard Alfonsi & Stephen Alfonsi both of Lynn, Patrick Alfonsi & his wife Laureen of Kingston, NH, & Brian Alfonsi of Lynn, 4 sisters Marilyn Welch & her husband Hoyt, Diane Ray of Smyrna, GA, Jeanne Alfonsi of Atlanta, GA, & Susan Lunden of Danvers, several aunts, uncles, cousins nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was brother of the late David & Michael Alfonsi.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday in the Harvest Gospel Church Marietta Georgia.
