1927 - 2003
Mary E. Didion Dillon, 75, of Blairsville, PA died on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 in the Latrobe Area Hospital, Latrobe, PA.

She was born May 12, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of Joseph S. and Ida P. Koffler Didion. Mrs. Dillon was a member of SS Simon & Jude R.C. Church, Blairsville, PA and a graduate of St. Mary of the Mount High School in 1945.

Surviving are her husband, Charles F. Dillon; two sons, Ronald C. Dillon, Bonita Springs, Florida and Matthew J. Dillon and his wife, Anna Marie, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six daughters, Linda Sterley, Indiana, PA; Patte McElhoes and her husband, Patrick; Debra Lyons and her husband, William; Teresa Lowman and her husband, Ronald; and Donna Crawford and her husband, Richard, all of Blairsville, PA; and Pamela Busler and her husband, Michael, Bowie, Maryland; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Adrian Didion, Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Alice Collins, Lady Lake, Florida and Imelda King, Pittsburgh, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Didion and a sister, Henrietta Powers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 to 9 P.M. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA where a wake service will be held on Friday at 8:30 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in the SS Simon & Jude R.C. Church, Blairsville, PA with Fr. Chester J. Raimer as celebrant.

Interment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, PA.
