Vesta Beasley Obituary

BEASLEY Vesta Marie LeViner Beasley, of Miami, Florida, passed away April 30, 2009, following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Harmon A. and Gertrude LeViner. Born July 8, 1930, in Leesburg, Florida, Vesta served as a registered nurse with Seaboard Airline Railroad on The Silver Star, Doctor's Hospital in Coral Gables and retired from serving as campus nurse with Miami Dade Community College, Kendall Campus. Surviving are her son, John B. Beasley, Jr., of Miami; sisters, Myra LeViner Cooper, (the late Cecil Brannon Cooper, Jr.) of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Glenda LeViner Dupont (Maurice) of Jacksonville, Florida and a brother, Gene A. LeViner of Jacksonville Beach, Florida. She had many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by a son, Howard Andrew “Andy” Beasley and her husband, John B. Beasley, Sr. Vesta never met a stranger and was a “mom” to all. She loved her family, but most of all loved her personal Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who promised her a mansion and where she resides now. John 3:16; John 14. A visitation for Vesta LeViner Beasley was held on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 5PM-7PM with a brief service following. A service and burial will be held at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Florida on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 11AM.
