Cleo Inez Brazeal OsborneApril 13, 1916 — March 16, 2010Cleo Inez Brazeal Osborne, 93 of Duncan. died on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in Duncan. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 at Duncan Cemetery with the Rev. Clif Cummings officiating. Services are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 7 p.m. She was born Thursday, April 13, 1916 in Stephens County, the daughter of Thomas J. and Ada Wisdom Brazeal. Inez graduated from Duncan High School in 1934. She married C.M. "Jack" Osborne on Aug. 8, 1936 in Carlsbad, N.M. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1987.Jack and Inez had a very interesting life. They traveled all over the United States while working for Amerada Oil Company. Throughout their travels they made several new friendships that lasted many years. They returned to Duncan in 1972. She has lived at Chisholm Trail Assisted Living the last ten years.She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, sewing, crocheting, crossword puzzles and coin collecting. Inez gave her nieces and nephews special memories of precious times with her. Her nephews and nieces were Don Brazeal, Linda Moore, Jackie Sherrill, Kay Nixon, Betty Stanley, Margarite Tiemann, Sonny Sherrill, Bill Sherrill, John Deal Sherrill, Geraldine Martin, Bruce Burum and Juanita Pendley. Her top priority was always her family and friends.Inez was a member of First Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Cleta Burum and Dovie Sherrill and two brothers, Delbert Brazeal and W.T. Brazeal. Her family is waiting for her with open arms.Special thanks to Dr. Edwards, Dr. Weedn, Chisholm Trail Assisted Living Staff and Country Club Care Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to First Baptist Church.
