CHIEF WHITE OWL, aka, GEORGE A. DAHMER Chief White Owl, aka, George A. Dahmer, of Boynton Beach, passed away May 23, 2008 at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis. He was born June 19, 1935 in Wilmington, OH. He had been a resident of Boynton Beach for 24 years, moving from Ohio. He had been a professional wrestler for 32 years, wrestling throughout the country. and was a member of the WWF. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Dahmer of Boynton Beach; daughter, Debbie Dahmer of Port St. Lucie; son, Steven 'Cowboy' Dahmer of Boynton Beach; grandsons, Shawn Conkling of Port St. Lucie and Dalton Dahmer of Boynton Beach; a granddaughter, Tawsha Dahmer of Boynton Beach; a great grandson, Johnny Dahmer Jr. of Boynton Beach; a brother, Wilbur Dahmer of Xenia, OH; sisters, Gloria Austin of Marysville, OH, Elaine Haithcock, Annetta Smith and Norma Terrell all of Washington Courthouse, OH; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice Stephens Dahmer and Lonango Dahmer; sisters, Ellen Jaminson, Murial Dahmer and Edwina Brown; and brothers, William and Carroll Dahmer. In my eyes I had the Best of the Best of parents in the world. They showed me down the right track in life and made me whom I am today. All the wonderful memories of being brought up and there after. A part of my heart is missing and can't be replaced.
We all know that we are all on this earth temporary, we got to make the best of it. Saying the final good-bye is the toughest. God please give us the strength and hope to carry on, God is our only living hope.

Dad, today marks 9 years since you passed. I can't believe its been that long since you went home to be with our Father in heaven. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you or a memory of something funny that you said or did or just that belly gut laugh of yours. We all love and miss you so very much. I know your watching over us cause I can feel it. I know in my heart your smiling over your grandkids and great grandkids. J J looks just like you, acts like you and is crazy like you. I watch the way he eats, watches tv and everything he does is you all over. God gave us him cause he knew it was little Hootie and that he would bring laughter and joy to us. We would be fighting over who gets the kids and who's the best PaPa. The one thing we do know is that someday we will see you again and spend eternity together. It is still hard that your not here with us. We will take care of Moose, you don't have to worry about that. I was fortunate enough to get an interview with Chief White Owl when I was a third grader doing a school report on what I wanted to be when I grew up. He spent over a half hour with me and told me to be a wrestler, I should exercise and go out for every sport I could but to focus first on my education and make my goal to get a degree. After all these years, I still recall how encouraging and kind he was to me.

I sure do miss my Uncle George! We didn't get to spend much time together over the years but the few visits we had I will always remember. From a wedding in Ohio when I was just a kid to my graduation at Navy Boot Camp in Orlando. I have vivid memories of how much fun he was to be around and regret not making time to be around precious family more often. We are a lot closer to Aunt Patty with our latest move to NE Florida and look forward to catching back up with all of our south Florida family soon. I love you Uncle George.
